- 29' Luthi huit septante one design, 1999
Series built fun-boat designed specifically for Lake Geneva, this project synthesises high-tech performance devices – such as a M40J carbon rotating wing mast – with convenient day-sailing features, all included in a very simple-to-use package (no backstay, no runners, huge cockpit, etc).
The interior contains only the essentials, that is a cooler for the drinks and enough space to enlarge the family thanks to a large deluxe double bed…
To suit the local conditions, the aspect ratio of the rig is kept particularly high, while the sail area stays reasonable.
The eighth unit was ordered early in 2007 and the class is now recognised by the ACVL and organised with statutes, class rules, etc.
