15mSNS, a cute metric class of the lakes
Specifications

In 1997-1998 we developed two versions of a brand-new design for this traditional elegant metre-style class, typical of the Swiss lakes since 1933 (read the story on the class’s official website: www.15m2-sns-class.ch).

The first version for Vincent Zanlonghi, SUI-160 ZR Concept, involved a unique build: the whole boat was shaped out of a 35kg/m3 PVC foam block, deck and cockpit included, and then covered in glass fabrics and epoxy, exactly like a surfboard. What more can we say than that this boat is quite unsinkable!

Then the second version, responding to a request from the Heinrich shipyard, was more focused on elegance, built traditionally in teak and mahogany using longer overhangs for a sleek silhouette. Three units of this model have been built to date.

A brand-new version is under development.
