formula 28' trimaran Saga Synergie Var, 1991

This project gave us the opportunity to apply the concept we had already used for our 1987 lake 30-footer.

The result was a powerful craft with minimal central hull. This was included for structural rigidity only, while also acting as a buoyancy pivot when tacking – hence no appendages are carried by the central ‘pod’, everything has been transferred to the floats.

After being renamed Chouka for other Formula 28 regattas, she's now sailing on Lake Garda.
