- formula 28' catamaran Charleston, 1989
Beautifully built by Charlie Capelle and Technologie Marine at La Trinité-sur-Mer, this catamaran has successfully raced three seasons in Formula 28.
Both the central steering system, inspired by the C-Class, and the longitudinally moveable racks give the crew complete freedom in weight positioning.
A sistership, totally carbon fibre, was built in 1992. After racing in Europe under the name VDB-Communication, then Pulsion, she was sold in Marblehead, MA, USA where she's still sailing (photo 04).
