Co-designed, built and skippered by Jean-Marc Monnard, this dinghy has been targeted for the Swiss lake regattas, where the pétole wind is all too often expected (see photo 07 at the Bol d'Or on Lac de Joux, no further comment…).
This is the main reason why planing was not a priority and project attention was focused on the low-speed efficiency of hull and appendages.
